It is often the most difficult sites that produce the most interesting results. In the case of Haven Mews the site is situated in the middle of a Georgian urban block. Historically, the site was an industrial unit and development parameters restricted the building profile to the former warehouse. The design focused on this section of the building and how to get light to penetrate the building's volume.  Together with this each habitable space has access to a terrace, resulting in light airy inside / out space.
