Once a stable block, this sensitive site was converted and largely re-built to form three new mews houses. Solving the challenges of overlooking, privacy of space and domestic functionality Buckley Gray Yeoman delivered an award-winning scheme. Each house is separated from the next at ground floor level by a projecting 'fin' wall, which in turn forms a glazed enclosure to the living space. Arranged over three floors, each house provides a contemporary example of the classic 'stable mews' home.
