Post completion research by the University of Cambridge has shown that this office scheme reduces the annual carbon footprint per employee by almost 50%. Working with tight existing ceiling heights, Buckley Gray Yeoman specified an underfloor air conditioning system, which not only saved space but also energy. Compared with other systems the reduced carbon emissions of this building are the equivalent of planting 211 trees or taking 132 cars off UK roads! This project was also the first building in the UK to achieve The British Allergy Foundation's seal of approval.
