The challenge for Ask Electronics was how do you treble the size of your retail space, by extending the space both upwards and outwards, whilst at the same time ensuring people will visit every corner of the new space - all whilst the shop continues to trade. Buckley Gray Yeoman's answer was to remove a large proportion of the facade to create double height shop front, whilst forming an atrium between the old and new parts of the building at the rear - bringing natural light into the heart of the building.
