    BuckleyGrayYeoman has completed a 60, 000 sq ft fit out for its long-standing client The Office Group, a leading provider of design-led flexible offices, meeting rooms and co-working spaces. Spanning across three floors, the adaptable workspace and additional club areas sit at an intersection of Bloomsbury Way and New Oxford Street, benefitting from the building’s close proximity to Holborn and Tottenham Court Road tube stations as well as the future Crossrail. The project is inspired by the Bloomsbury Group and evokes the sense of a private members’ club.Throughout, statement pieces such as a Grand Piano and a Gramophone embellish classic vintage interiors that are brought up to date with crisp and meticulous detailing. Eclectic work spaces are located off a central avenue and the refurbishment also includes meeting rooms, breakout areas, round tables, shared work tables and booth seating. The scheme also incorporates unique facilities for The Office Group members such as a Vinyl library, a welcoming lounge area, phone booths and a reading room.The material palette for the fit out comprises fumed oak surfaces, bolon flooring and subtle bare walls which are heightened by bronze detailing and exposed iron structures. Inlaid rich green leather desks, terracotta tiles and simplistic lighting also enhance the design. BuckleyGrayYeoman were responsible for the refurbishment and extension of the 1940s building which completed in April 2015. The neo-classical building was occupied by MoD prior to the revamp which proudly sits near to Hawksmoor’s last London church, Grade I listed St George of Bloomsbury. The Bloomsbury Building builds on their previous work for The Office Group which includes Henry Wood House and The Black and White Building.
