Tim Johnston


Tim is an architect with 16 years’ post-graduate experience in British and Australian architectural practices, who has worked on a wide-range of projects: from high specification, one-off homes to multi-unit residential schemes; in addition to commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments. He has considerable experience in all phases of the construction process, from initial concept design to development, detailing, contract administration and site inspection.

At BuckleyGrayYeoman, he has worked on a wide range of projects, from a large-scale master-plan at Forest Gate, East London, to an eighty unit scheme in South London and several smaller nine unit developments in Hackney and Tower Hamlets.

At Assael Architecture, he was involved in several large refurbishment schemes, through design, planning & construction phases. These included the Tachbrook Triangle development in Pimlico, which contains sixty new build units, including social housing and the conversion, extension and repair of 11 Listed Georgian townhouses. He also worked on the high specification urban infill development at Rochester Row, for fifty one residential units planned around a central courtyard, and the Lumiere development in Clapham, which involved the construction of sixty one new-build units within the footprint of a disused Grade II Listed art deco cinema.
