Oliver is passionate about translating complex briefs into distinguished projects that demonstrate the hidden potential within existing buildings and undeveloped sites. He is committed to close collaboration with whole design teams and forging long-standing relationships with clients and consultants.
His completed projects include: C-Space, the conversion of a 62,000sqft former carpet factory on London’s City Road into a co-working hub; Herbal House, a 120,000 sq ft mixed-use refurbishment of the former St Martins College building in Clerkenwell; the restoration and interior fit-out of Summit House, a Grade-II listed building within the Bloomsbury Conservation area; The Black & White Building, a ‘pop-up’ office space in the heart of the South Shoreditch Conservation Area housed within a Victorian building, and Tànger 66 in Barcelona, which has repurposed a mid-century industrial building to create 80,000sqft of flexible workspace.
His current projects include a high-profile 400,000sqft redevelopment in Canary Wharf; a large mixed-use development on Hackney Road which comprises sixty residential units alongside flexible office and retail space; the reconfiguration of the notable Edificio Planeta in Barcelona and a large new-build mixed-use scheme in Madrid.
Oliver is also a Professional Studies Advisor for London Metropolitan University and continues to play an active role in teaching. Prior to joining the practice Oliver worked for Burrell Foley Fischer and Allies and Morrison Architects, delivering a series of refurbishment and new build projects across a wide range of sectors. He also studied and worked in Barcelona for Bach Arquitectes; working primarily on residential and commercial schemes within the city. Oliver became a Director at BuckleyGrayYeoman in 2019, having been an Associate Director since 2014.
