What is happening in Hipsterland?

24 February 2017

The transformation of ‘fringe’ locations around the City of London has been one of the Capital’s great success stories in recent years. The proliferation of tech and creative businesses in Clerkenwell, Farringdon, Shoreditch and Hoxton has fanned out from the ‘Silicon Roundabout’ on Old Street and created a new digital quarter. The official name for the area may be ‘Tech City’ but for many, this exciting, energised collection of businesses is now simply ‘Hipsterland’.

Paul White has been invited to a seminar sponsored by Estates Gazette to discuss what’s been happening in the location, how it has emerged from the turmoil of 2016 and what the future holds for it

Leading City fringe agent, Shaun Simons, Philippa Davies, Senior Leasing Surveyor at Derwent London – one of the area’s most prominent developers and Mishcon de Reya’s Susan Freeman took also part to the event.

The event was a great opportunity to get a better understanding of one of London’s most exciting property markets.
