BuckleyGrayYeoman are pleased to announce they have received planning to transform 132 Goswell Road – a former printworks and gin distillery in Clerkenwell into a new office hub on behalf of General Projects and Northern & Midland Holdings.

BuckleyGrayYeoman’s approved design re-imagines the existing 1960’s building and outdated office provision on the 0.2ha site at 132 Goswell Road to create a landmark office space. The approved 95,000sqft scheme has an increased area of over 25,000sqft with 5,000sqft dedicated to SMEs. When complete, the scheme will provide modern offices for more than 850 people, retail spaces and street frontages along Pear Tree Lane and Goswell Road.

A striking new intervention will be built on an area of land between the two existing buildings providing a flexible space for exhibitions and events. The space will help to stitch the two existing blocks together and will create a strong focal point and clear entrance to the development restoring the vitality and public use of this important corner.
