The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) has granted planning consent for a new mixed-use development at Dace Road in Hackney Wick, designed by BuckleyGrayYeoman on behalf of Aitch Group. The new development will replace outdated light-industrial sheds with four new mixed-use buildings arranged around a central courtyard, creating new public space and pedestrian routes at the south western gateway to Hackney Wick. The new buildings will be up to 6 storeys in height and contain more commercial floor area than the existing buildings provide, alongside 110 new homes. The Passage has been named as Regional Finalist in the 2017 Civic Trust Awards. Regional Finalists will be put forward to National Panel for second tier consideration. National Panel will review all Regional Finalists and consider them for a National/International Civic Trust Award or Commendation. Results will be announced on Thursday 15th December as to whether the scheme has been successful at National Panel and is one the 2017 Civic Trust Award Winners.

BuckleyGrayYeoman has completed a 417 room new build student residential development on Commercial Road in East London for student housing provider Pure Student Living. Pure Aldgate’s 19 storeys contain over 11,970 sq m of accommodation and communal facilities on the edge of the City of London.
