    We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in three categories in the AJ Retrofit Awards 2016. The Passage is a finalist in Health and Well Being, C-Space in  Offices over 2000 sqm, while Education First has been shortlisted in Education Project.

    Just around the corner from London's Victoria Station lies a building complex which houses the Homelessness charity, The Passage. First constructed in 1863 as a girls’ orphanage and night school, the complex of buildings has been renovated by BuckleyGrayYeoman to meet the ever increasing demands of providing adequate care for the homeless people of London.     Newport Sandringham on site

    BuckleyGrayYeoman have been commissioned by Shaftesbury PLC to redevelop over 100 metres or prime retail offering within the heart of the West End. The project was granted planning in July 2015 and has now started on site. The shopfronts are due to be installed early November 2016 and the whole scheme is scheduled for completion early 2017.     BuckleyGrayYeoman has completed the 2,510 sq m refurbishment of Yalding House in Fitzrovia on behalf of British Land. The refurbished building will provide stylish office space as well as a restaurant unit on the ground floor and basement. For over 60 years, from 1952 to 2013, Yalding House was the home to BBC Radio’s Music Department, housing Radio 3 and Radio 1, as well as the BBC Central Music Library.Click here to see more.

    Dept W Wins Planning

    BuckleyGrayYeoman has won planning consent for the refurbishment of the former Wickhams Department Store on Mile End Road in London’s East End, on behalf of Resolution Property and Schroders REIM. Tower Hamlets has given the go-ahead to refurbish and extend the 1927 Beaux Arts building to create Department W: a modern, workspace-led, mixed use development of nearly 120,000 sq ft.     BuckleyGrayYeoman has been appointed by Resolution Property to design Black Lion, an office-led refurbishment located in Whitechapel.

  • 18 Mansell Street

    18 Mansell Street

    Located in the heart of the fast changing Aldgate East, 18 Mansell Street has just achieved practical completion. The brief was to turn 10,000 sqft of existing office and reception space into a property suited to the TMT market. The discovery of an existing concrete coffered ceiling drove the design towards the industrial look and feel akin to a Shoreditch warehouse.
