    Nando's Glasgow

BuckleyGrayYeoman’s latest design venture for Nando’s has opened in Glasgow. Located on Sauchiehall Street within a conservation area, a key design concept was to reinstate the building to its Art Deco heritage. A stronger eye catching entrance and façade provides new identity to the shopfront. The 98-cover restaurant includes modern detailing to reclaimed materials. Colourful, textured shutters have been used to create character and rustic detailing. Natural light has been increased by removing a suspended ceiling, and a new angled mezzanine introduces dynamic space allowing customers to look across the restaurant. Click here to see more.

BuckleyGrayYeoman have secured planning permission for a two-storey rooftop pavilion above an eight-storey office building at 107-112 Leadenhall Street in the heart of the City of London’s tall buildings cluster. The building is based on the concept of the 'fifth elevation' - the principle that the view from adjacent tall buildings backing onto the scheme is as significant as conventional views from the street.
