Peter THOMAS
Associate BSc(Hons) March
Peter joined Buckley Gray Yeoman as an architectural assistant in 1999 as a graduate from the University of Bath. He has been with the company as it has grown from a small office in Rivington Street to the significant practice it is today. Extended periods of study in both Greece and Hong Kong provided an opportunity to explore the architecture of classical civilisations and to experience their diverse cultures and societies at first hand. This transposes into an intrinsic understanding of proportion and detailing in Peter's work, along with a passion for materials and craftsmanship. With a creative desire that extends beyond the world of architecture, Peter is a keen painter. He has also inherited his family's interest in horticulture and when not in the pub can usually be found tending the plants in his Hackney garden.
