Richard Buckley was the founding partner of one of the new wave of young design led architectural practices that sprung up in London in the mid 1990's. The breadth of work undertaken by Buckley Gray Yeoman remains a testament to his belief that design is a sensual experience and as such can create emotion across all human activity.
He died tragically while on holiday with his family in Oct 2008. The Buckley family would like to see Richard's life remembered in a positive way that reflects his energy and enthusiasm. A memorial fund has been set up and the money raised will be used to fund an Educational Award in Architecture related to travel and sketching at Oxford Brooks University, the place where Richard started out on his successful journey into the world of architecture.
